About Glean

Glean is enterprise search with an AI layer on top: it connects to the apps a company already uses and answers questions from all of them at once, while respecting who is allowed to see what. Its pricing page (read 16 October 2026) publishes no price, plan names, seat minimum or trial — the only call to action is 'Get a demo' — and says it connects to 275+ work apps and data sources, naming Slack, Google Drive, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, GitHub and Salesforce. Access is described as permission-aware from day one, so people only see what they are already allowed to see. The same page cites customers building agents on it at scale — 3.4k+ at Zillow and 2.7k+ at Ericsson — which shows where it is aimed: large organisations whose knowledge is scattered across dozens of systems. In practice the value grows with how fragmented your tools are, and so does the risk: search makes every badly set sharing permission visible, so a permissions clean-up usually comes first. The limits: no self-serve route, no published price to budget from, and an implementation that needs IT and security sign-off. For a team that already keeps its knowledge in Notion, the workspace Q&A in Notion's Business plan covers much of the same need inside one tool; a Microsoft 365 organisation should compare Copilot for Microsoft 365 first. Verdict: a serious option for enterprises with sprawling knowledge and an IT team to run it; small and mid-sized companies should exhaust the search built into tools they already pay for.

Best For

Large organisations with knowledge spread across many systems and an IT and security team to deploy it. Not for small or mid-sized teams, anyone who needs a price before a sales call, or companies whose sharing permissions are not yet in order.

How Glean compares in Productivity

The 13 productivity agents we track, listed alphabetically. 9 of the 13 publish a free tier. Prices are the vendor’s own published starting figure and change without notice — check the vendor’s pricing page before committing.

The bar under a price compares that plan with the dearest monthly plan in this table (6 of the 13 rows are flat monthly prices). Custom, per-seat, per-usage and annual prices are not on the same scale, so they carry no bar — a missing bar does not mean cheaper.
