About Writesonic
Writesonic is no longer best understood as an article generator. Its pricing page (read 16 October 2026) sells an AI search visibility platform: you give it a set of prompts about your brand, it tracks how ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews answer them, and its AI articles and site audits exist to close the gaps it finds. Starter is $79 a month billed annually for three tracked AI platforms, 50 prompts, 15 articles, ten site audits and one user; Basic is $199 and Growth $399 on the same basis; Enterprise is quoted and tracks all nine platforms. There is no permanent free tier, but every plan starts with a free trial that needs no card. The limits are the ones that come with the category: prompt counts are small on Starter, AI answers change daily so a single reading proves little, and an AI article still needs an editor before it goes live. If you only want drafting help, Notion AI or Copy.ai are cheaper; if you want to know whether AI assistants are recommending you or a competitor, this is the tool on this site built for that question. Verdict: worth the Starter price for a brand that has already seen traffic shift from search results to AI answers, and premature for one that has not.
Best For
Brands, agencies and in-house SEO teams that need to see and fix how AI assistants describe them. Not for freelancers who want a cheap article writer, or for sites too new to have any AI-answer footprint to track.

The bar under a price compares that plan with the dearest monthly plan in this table (3 of the 6 rows are flat monthly prices). Custom, per-seat, per-usage and annual prices are not on the same scale, so they carry no bar — a missing bar does not mean cheaper.
