About Notion AI
Notion AI is not sold as a $10 add-on any more. On Notion's pricing page (read 16 October 2026) the Free and Plus plans carry only a trial of Notion AI, and the full set — Notion Agent, AI Meeting Notes and Enterprise Search in beta — comes with the Business plan at $20 per member a month, with Enterprise on custom pricing; custom agents are metered separately at $10 per 1,000 Notion credits after a free trial. That changes who it is for. If your team already runs its docs, wiki and project databases in Notion, the AI is strong precisely because it works on that content: it summarises a meeting into the page where the agenda lives, fills a database column across many rows, drafts in the doc you are editing and answers questions across the workspace. If your work lives in Google Docs, Slack or a code repository, most of that value disappears and a general assistant is the better buy. The practical limit is the obvious one: it only knows what is in Notion and what you connect to it. Compare Mem on this site for self-organising notes and Glean for search across every work app. Verdict: for a Notion-first team the Business plan is the honest price of the AI; for anyone else it is an expensive way to get a chatbot.
Best For
Teams that already live in Notion and will pay for the Business plan to get meeting notes, database autofill and workspace search in one place. Not for individuals on the Free or Plus plan, who only get a trial of the AI, or for teams whose documents live elsewhere.

The 6 writing agents we track, listed alphabetically. 1 of the 6 publish a free tier. Prices are the vendor’s own published starting figure and change without notice — check the vendor’s pricing page before committing.
The bar under a price compares that plan with the dearest monthly plan in this table (3 of the 6 rows are flat monthly prices). Custom, per-seat, per-usage and annual prices are not on the same scale, so they carry no bar — a missing bar does not mean cheaper.
