About Gong

Gong does not sell to a sales rep; it sells to the people who manage them. It records and transcribes calls, reads the email threads and meetings around each deal, and turns that into coaching moments, deal-risk warnings and a forecast that rests on what customers actually said rather than what reps typed into the CRM. That is why it is in this directory as an agent rather than a dialler: the analysis runs across every conversation without anyone asking. On pricing, Gong's own page (read 16 October 2026) publishes no figures. It states that 'licenses are priced per user', that 'there is a platform fee based on the number of users supported', and that integrating your existing stack is free; instead of a price list it asks for your team size and promises 'a customized proposal'. Budget for both components. The limits a buyer should weigh: recording needs consent in many jurisdictions, adoption depends on reps accepting that every call is reviewed, and the value is in the volume — a team of three will not generate enough conversations to make the patterns meaningful. For outbound execution rather than analysis, see Amplemarket or 11x on this site. Verdict: the standard choice for a sales organisation large enough to coach from data; too much platform for a small team.

Best For

Sales leaders and revenue operations teams at companies with enough reps and calls to coach from patterns. Not for small teams or founders selling alone, and not for anyone who cannot get consent to record customer conversations.
